Mosley said that he was dealing with an Achilles injury in his left foot during that fight, which led to the putrid performance. His team said that the injury is healed but if you follow sports you know that Achilles ailments are nothing to take lightly.

Alvarez (39-0-1, 29 KOs) is coming off a five-round, TKO decision over Kermit Cintron. Standing at 5-foot-9 with a 71-inch reach, the WBC junior middleweight titleholder has knocked out all three of his previous opponents.
But critics contend that Alvarez hasn’t lined up against a quality fighter to date. It seems like Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya is protecting one of his youngest, and most promising, prospects.

Cotto vs Mayweather Stream

Preparations for fighting to someone that you know can defeat you is not easy. Competition is just around the corner. This is the very reason why fighters need to practice, to win against the opponent. All are set, everything is on place for the much awaited fight of the year in the history of boxing. “RING KINGS.” Featuring Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto. It will happen on May 5, 2012 at the MGM Grand Arena at Las Vegas, Nevada.



Boxing was designed to last up until the 12th round. Boxers will of course want to win, as early round as possible. However, having a good contender gave them encouragement to stay wide awake and standing up, until the last round. Miguel and Floyd are giving all effort and energy in practicing which technique will work better to defeat the opponent. Mayweather aims to get points against Cotto by his exemplary speed and accuracy. Endurance will be the weapon of Cotto in dealing with the punches to be thrown by Floyd. Some of the boxing fanatics are putting their bet on Miguel, it is because he was able to fight with the Philippines’ most undefeated boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. The said fight lasted up until the 12th round, wherein Cotto remained standing and did everything to beat Pacman, but his determination was not enough to get the title. That experience will surely inspire Miguel to pursue even more, to try harder and to punch with greater intensity as he face Floyd inside the boxing ring. Likewise, Floyd will not let himself go to the battle without a weapon. He is allotting most of his time to practice and study tactics in winning the battle.
Floyd also considered the possibility of getting really hard punches from Cotto. It is because Floyd is aware that Cotto encountered Pacman, and he himself hasn’t experience that yet. Pacman is indeed a great boxer and Cotto lasted up to the last round; that thought would really shake Floyd a little.
